AAPRO The Kustom Karigar
An Honest Choice

Same Diamond. Different Origin Story.

Lab-grown diamonds share the exact chemical, optical, and physical properties of mined diamonds. The only difference is where — and how responsibly — they were formed.

What Is a Lab-Grown Diamond?

Real Diamonds, Grown Above Ground

A lab-grown diamond is not a simulant, and it is not "fake." It is carbon, crystallized into a diamond lattice, using either High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) or Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) — technologies that replicate the natural conditions under which diamonds form, without the wait of a billion years underground.

Gemologically, a trained eye — even with a loupe — cannot tell a lab-grown diamond from a mined one without specialized detection equipment. Every AAPRO lab-grown diamond is graded on the same 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, carat) used for mined stones.

How It's Made

From Carbon Seed to Cut Stone

A small diamond seed is placed in a controlled chamber where carbon-rich gas or carbon source material is introduced under precise heat and pressure. Layer by layer, the seed grows into a rough diamond crystal — chemically indistinguishable from one formed in the earth.

Once grown, each rough stone is cut, polished, and independently graded before it ever reaches an AAPRO design table.

Our Commitment

Certified. Transparent. Traceable.

Independently Certified

Every AAPRO lab-grown diamond ships with IGI or GIA certification, disclosed upfront — never a surprise at pickup.

A Gentler Footprint

Growing a diamond above ground avoids the large-scale land disruption associated with traditional mining.

Conflict-Free by Design

Grown in controlled facilities with documented origin — no ambiguity about where your diamond came from.

Quick Questions

Common Questions About Lab-Grown Diamonds

No. Lab-grown diamonds do not fade, cloud, or change color with age — they are chemically identical to mined diamonds and equally durable.

Yes. We offer both, and are transparent about sourcing for either. Many clients choose a blend depending on the piece and budget.

The same 4Cs — cut, color, clarity, and carat — determine value, graded by the same independent labs (IGI, GIA) used for mined diamonds.
